Overview: ON the BridGe

The idea of ​​the project started by considering the historical photos you provide and those found on historic sites in the city of Cleveland, were also very useful videos shot in the upper level.
The structure of the bridge has bound very design choices but no changes were made special modifications apart from the creation of openings.
The basic idea was to go put the features on the bridge closing spaces with transparent glass. All actions are reversible.
Priority was given to the bike path that runs along the north side of the bridge, and does not cross the path of pedestrians so as not to create hazards.
One of the strengths of the project was to resurface the old tramlines and consequently the tram cars, entering into them, functions such as restaurant, information point and a car dedicated to the history of the bridge.
We have also added revenue on all four sides by restoring the old openings that faced the surface (both sides of the south bridge).
The addition of some glass lifts allows the achievement of the lower part of the bridge also from the center, so as to be able to use parking below. The interventions were designed not to affect the aesthetics of detroit superior bridge, for you can always enjoy the same fantastic skyline.
