2012: Transforming the Bridge | 12364

Overview: This exhibit represents a connection between the city on both sides of the bridge, to arts and community. This connection is made by multiple methods focusing on a wide range of men women and children. To connect people to the site we focused on what gets our emotions and senses working and thus connections were made through music (and other sounds), nature, amusement, and art.
To elaborate more each amenity supports itself as well as each other. These amenities are tailored to bring in people within the community who share an interest in these types of features. Music and art being the main source, is supported by a design using sustainable materials and plants, which also comes back to being an art form.
The other aspects of the site are leisure for inhabitants, but it also becomes a lifestyle to others who add to the ambience of art. This can be seen by way of the farmer’s market idea in which we promote product as well as produce. This comes back to local involvement and creating this community idea around art, music, nature and amusement.
