Location: Moscow, Russia

Overview: The existing bridge was converted into a multi-functional recreational area with gradual immersion into space. The four stages represent the four zones: one central and three symmetrical from east and west. The transition occurs gently from open areas to more withdrawn. The scene completes space. Two zones are input located on the east and west parts of the bridge, they were met by the incoming, as an artificial landscape,
symbolizing the transition from land to artificially construction. Space is completely open, finishing in natural materials: some types of wood and natural stone. Thin steel sheets do not violate the overall geometry of the bridge. They are relatively to the existing grid columns. Tarpaulins strung between the sheets, the white canvas that create semi-enclosed spaces of different shapes and sizes. There may be different exhibitions, installations, public lectures. Tented pavilion easily change shape and might been transformed.

This part of the bridge is devoted to the area supply and recreation. Passersby can choose whether to attend cubic cafe, library, flower shop or spend time with the kids in the game cube. The main hero of a central part is a concert stage. The form of the ceiling and wood finishing provides a diffuse distribution of sound and make it acoustically comfortable.
Also, in the center there bike parkings, cash office and a cafe.
